Save The Orcas holds true to the value of honesty in every aspect of our organization. To the best of our knowledge, the information contained within our website, publications, and other media are accurate and factual. We do not cover up or hide pertinent details to further our beliefs, but rather commit to presenting an unbiased, truthful assessment of the data behind any issue or topic we report upon. We feel that inaccurate information is in direct violation of our goal to constructively educate the public. Any editorial content on our website will be specifically marked as opinion rather than fact.

Community

Save The Orcas is part of a larger community which is comprised of a vast assortment of individuals, organizations, and even governmental bodies - each with their own views, ideas, and beliefs. As a member of that community, we shall act in a manner that welcomes and respects diversity, rather than as an organization that discredits or ignores those with differing opinions. Our goal shall be to identify our position on an issue, provide factual data, and present such information in a way that encourages the reader to make up their own mind. We wish to promote a secure environment to share ideas and listen to the opinions of others. We believe that positive change can only be the result of cooperative effort of a diverse community.

Accountability

As a non-profit, we at Save The Orcas have a responsibility for providing educational information, news items, and other resources to our global audience. This is not a responsibility we hold lightly, but one that we constantly strive to uphold by presenting only factual and accurate information. If we become aware of a mistake in our reporting or business conduct, we will take immediate action to correct that error in whatever way possible.
